Master Builder

Roger Ramsey Building is a member of the Registered Master Builders Association of NZ. We are passionate about the building industry and raising the standard of training and workmanship. Master Builders’ strict criteria for membership only allows trade qualified, suitably referenced applicants to join.

As a member of Master Builders you are entitled to additional guarantees when undertaking your project. These guarantees give you, the homeowner, additional reassurance in the quality of the workmanship provided by your Master Builder.

Licensed Building Practioner

Roger Ramsey Building is a ‘Licensed Building Practioner’ or LBP for short. Due to changes as at 1 March 2012, there are certain types of work that are classified as ‘Restricted Building Work’ and can only be undertaken or supervised by a LBP. This includes most residential building and renovation work. This is a major change to the building industry and is aimed at reducing the number of unqualified and inexperienced builders in the market.

You can rest assured that by Roger Ramsey Building being both a LBP and a member of Master Builders you have quality professionals working on your project. Our own comprehensive interview process also ensures we employ only trade qualified builders, with our apprentices working to gain their qualifications.

Project Management

All our clients are as unique as their houses and within the services of Roger Ramsey Building we offer you a package unique to your building and service requirements.

The level of client involvement can vary depending on lifestyles and location of the site. At Roger Ramsey Building we cater for your needs. Some clients want to be a part of the building process while others would prefer to have the hands-off approach. With Roger Ramsey Building the choice is yours; we are available to take care of the subcontractors, e.g. plumbers, electricians, painters etc, as per your requirements.
